We are not from around Vienna but we visit often throughout the year and always go here for food. Wildfires has the best food in town. Seriously good. Nothing out of the ordinary on the menu but all of it is cooked perfectly. They have awesome bacon and biscuits. I'm pretty picky about bacon and biscuits. Lol. All of the staff is always awesome. The dining room is clean and comfortably decorated and now they have a drive thru. Well worth the extra 5 minute drive from the highway.
We enjoyed the delicious stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and then had a wonderful grilled pork chop dinner! Actually, we ended up ordering one order and sharing it because we were pretty full on the appetizer . The homemade mashed potatoes were awesome! We would highly recommend stopping at Wildfires, the food and staff were a delight!
Sunday is fried chicken day! Delish! Sides OK. All you can eat family style for $9.99.
We stopped to avoid the weather and ended up enjoying a very nice steak. The atmosphere is not extravagant, I would call it homey. The menu is basic but provides ample opportunities. We each had a ribeye with two sides and the steak was outstanding. I really do recommend this place, the power went out in the storm and the fine folks running the place were absolutely wonderful, accommodating, and very nice. It was the best meal by cell phone light I can remember having.
Sandwiches were good and the service excellent. At first, I thought the side of fries that came with the sandwich was a little small for the price, but I wasn't hungry when we left and probably wouldn't have eaten all of them had there been more. But I could see where others might complain.
